Ingredients

  • 450g cake flour
  • 225g sugar
  • 75g cacao powder
  • 5g baking soda
  • 1g salt
  • 2 pcs whole eggs
  • 2 pcs egg white
  • 150g almond sliced roasted
  • 75g chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven and lightly roast the sliced almonds until golden brown. Set aside to cool.

2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cacao powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. Beat the eggs and egg whites, then add them to the dry mixture. Mix gently until just combined.

4. Fold in the roasted almonds and chocolate chips, being careful not to overmix the dough.

5. Shape the dough into a mould and bake until firm. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice into biscotti pieces.

6. Return the slices to the oven and bake a second time until crisp and dry.

7. Cool completely before serving.
