Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup yoghurt
  • ½ cup oil
  • Zest and juice of 2 lemons
  • 2 Tbsp poppy seeds

Lemon Drizzle

  • ½ cup icing sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon

methods

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Mix dry ingredients.
  3. Whisk wet and fold into dry.
  4. Stir in lemon zest, juice, poppy seeds.
  5. Bake 35–40 minutes.
  6. While warm, pour lemon drizzle over.
