These bliss balls are all flavour, with very little sugar. They are perfect for a snack after which you will not feel guilty.
Ingredients
1 cup desiccated coconut, preferably toasted
⅓ cup ground almond
½ cup roasted and chopped cashews
¼ cup coconut oil melted
½ cup chopped canned guava (drained)
½ tsp lemon zest, optional
Instructions
1. Add all ingredients
Combine all the ingredients in a stand mixer, and use the paddle attachment to mix. If you do not have a stand mixer, you can mix all the ingredients in a bowl and use your hands to combine.
2. Mold it
Once everything is combined, take a tablespoon sized amount of mixture and roll into balls between your hands.
3. Let it rest
Set aside, and once finished, chill before serving (30 minutes minimum).
4. Place in the fridge
Keep stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
Pro Tips
These bliss balls get very little sweetness from guava, so feel free to replace coconut oil with honey or maple syrup to make them sweeter.
Replace guava with your favorite fruit.
If the mixture seems to dry add more coconut oil. If the mixture is too wet, add more ground almonds.
