Ingredients

  • 190g dark chocolate 
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 160g brown sugar
  • 3 eggs, room temperature
  • 50g almond meal
  • 2 plums, cut into thin slices

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees celsius.

2. Prepare a 7-inch square pan lined with baking paper.

3. Melt butter in a small pan and add the chocolate to melt.

4. In a medium bowl, combine the mixture of melted butter and chocolate. Add eggs and mix until well incorporated. Make sure the chocolate and butter mixture is not hot, or else the eggs will curdle.

5. Whisk in sugar followed by an almond meal.

6. Pour the mixture in the baking dish and arrange slices of plum on the top as per your desired shape.

7. Bake for 40 minutes or until cooked through before slicing.
